So far, I have finished reading the first 5 chapters (which in the book is chapters 3-7) of “Exploratory Data Analysis with R” by Roger Peng. I found the “multilaterative data” particularly useful because I can forsee myself measuring more than two attributes. This completes the required reading for the first half of the semester.
I also have decided to switch my question. I found DNA data too much to work with. My new topic is going to be highway data. I hope to be able to compare congestion to population and the width of a freeway.
Another mistake I made was asking my question before looking at the data, so I will update soon after I formulated a question based on the available data.
